Hi, I'm Stephanie, and before I became a dedicated Dachshund breeder, I spent years as a professional dog trainer working with a wide variety of breeds. Much of my time was spent working closely with shelter dogs and rehabilitation cases—many of whom were labeled as “unruly” simply due to a lack of early training and socialization. Seeing how these negative behaviors often stemmed from preventable gaps in early development only deepened my passion for working with dogs from the very beginning of their lives.
That’s what ultimately led me to breeding. And once I met the Dachshund—with their bold spirit, affectionate nature, and larger-than-life personalities—I knew I had found my heart breed.

Today, my family and I raise our long-haired Dachshunds on our small farm in Cleveland, Mo; where we enjoy 5 beautiful acres alongside our chickens, ducks, and pigs. This peaceful, rural setting gives our dogs plenty of space to explore, play, and grow up well-socialized with both people and other animals.

Our breeding program is built around three key values: health, temperament, and beauty. We raise our puppies in a loving home environment, ensuring they’re confident, well-mannered, and ready to become cherished companions.
Our goal is to match each of our puppies with families who value not just their unique look, but also the joy, loyalty, and personality they bring into a home.

We enjoy dabbling in a little bit of everything here on the farm! One of our favorite ventures has been raising and breeding Kunekune pigs. These gentle, grass-loving pigs are a joy to work with and fit perfectly into our farm lifestyle. Their calm nature and easygoing temperament make them not only great pasture pigs, but also a unique and rewarding part of our daily routine.

Welcoming our first litters of Kunekune piglets was truly a special experience. Their curious, playful personalities and tiny snouts brought so much laughter and energy to the farm. Watching them grow and thrive under the care of their attentive mamas has been incredibly rewarding for our whole family.

Each piglet has its own personality, and they’ve added a whole new layer of joy to our daily life here—we never tire of watching their silly antics or hearing their happy grunts as they root around the pasture.

Our chickens play an important role in the rhythm of our homestead. We manage them using a rotational grazing system, regularly moving their mobile coop and fencing to fresh sections of pasture. This method not only provides the chickens with a constantly changing diet of grasses and insects but also helps naturally fertilize our land, improving soil health and reducing pests. It's a sustainable, low-impact way to care for both our flock and our fields—plus, it keeps the chickens happy, healthy, and busy scratching all day long.

We also offer farm-fresh chicken eggs to our local community! Our hens are pasture-raised and rotationally grazed, producing rich, flavorful eggs with vibrant yolks. If you're nearby and looking for a fresh, local source—reach out, we'd love to share a dozen with you!

Most recently, we added ducks to the mix—and they’ve quickly become farm favorites! We raised them from babies, and now they free-range across the property, often spending their days waddling through the grass or splashing around in our pond. Watching them play in the water is a simple pleasure we never get tired of.
